Appearances at Moscow fair to boost food exports to Russia

Serbia's leading food companies - producers of cheese, dairy and meat products, processed meat, processed fruit and processed vegetable products, soft drinks and wine - will make appearances in Moscow from February 11 through 15 at Prodexpo, one of the largest international food fairs, the PKS has announced.

BELGRADE - Serbia's leading food companies - producers of cheese, dairy and meat products, processed meat, processed fruit and processed vegetable products, soft drinks and wine - will make appearances in Moscow from February 11 through 15 at Prodexpo, one of the largest international food fairs, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PKS) has announced in a statement.


Russia is Serbia's third-largest trade partner and the overall bilateral trade volume in 2018 was 18.5 pct up, totalling around 3 bln dollars, with Serbian exports to Russia accounting for more than 1 bln dollars.


The appearance of 12 Serbian companies is organised by the PKS and the Development Agency of Serbia with support from UNDP in Serbia.


Serbia's 120-plus sq m national pavilion at this year's Prodexpo will feature Mlekara Sabac, PIK Becej, Zlatiborac Mackat, Meggle Kragujevac, ITN Group Belgrade, Mitros Fleischwaren Sremska Mitrovica, Toplicki vinogradi Prokuplje, Master Fruits Belgrade, Fruvita Belgrade, Inter Food 60 Cacak, Mundorama Belgrade and Mlekara Ub.
