BELGRADE - Russian Ambassador to Belgrade Alexander Chepurin has announced Russian gas supplies to Serbia through the TurkStream gas pipeline would begin in 2020.

In a Twitter post, he wrote that gas supplies via Ukraine through the Trans-Balkan Corridor would cease in 2020, Sputnik reported.

"Serbia will constantly receive not only gas at a favourable price, which is already the case now, but significant revenues from transit fees as well," Chepurin wrote.
