BLED - The regional economies cannot wait for politics to solve decades-long problems, and the chambers of commerce of the six Western Balkan economies will in London on June 18 organise the first-ever presentation of the potentials of the region as a single investment destination for global investors, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia (PKS) President Marko Cadez has announced.

The conference will be held in collaboration with the Financial Times, Cadez said at the Austria Connect conference at Bled, Slovenia, on Thursday.

The region must remove obstacles faster to connect and catch up with the 4th Industrial Revolution, said Cadez, who chairs the EUROCHAMBRES committee on digitalisation.

The region's business community has its interests, Cadez said, adding that dialogue in the region must be launched to further accelerate economic growth.
