GENEVA - In the coming period, Serbia will fight the grey economy unsparingly and work on transforming its economy to ensure it is based on knowledge and innovations in the future, Serbian PM Ana Brnabic said Wednesday in Geneva as she concluded her attendance of the International Labour Conference.

"It is impermissible to have people who work without being registered or without paid health and pension insurance. The fight against the grey economy is something that is continuing, and it is an unsparing fight, I would say," Brnabic told Serbian reporters.

A pension system reform is also among the priorities and its goal will be to ensure the most sustainable pension fund possible, she said.

This is something all countries in the world will face, regardless of how developed they are, she added.
