BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said Tuesday that it was very important to him that the opposition takes part in the elections, because citizens would be able to see how much support the opposition has.

Commenting on the talks between government and the opposition, he said he hoped these meetings would continue in good spirits, but added that the opposition never wanted to negotiate with him.

Asked if he would talk to them now, Vucic said he would act in accordance with constitutional powers, which means he would talk when they reach parliament in the census.

He added that he would probably talk to Sergej Trifunovic, Vojislav Seselj, Ivica Dacic because they would be above the census.

When it comes to election conditions, Vucic said he would accept almost everything the opposition wants.

He added that he would accept almost all the proposals on financing political parties too.
