NEW YORK - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic says everything can be discussed when it comes to a compromise solution for Kosovo but that he will not support or sign up to a solution that would see the Kosovo Albanians get everything and Serbia get nothing.

When asked by the Voice of America if he would be the one to recognise Kosovo, Vucic said he had answered that question several times.

"We can talk about everything only if it is about compromise - you will never get my signature and my support for the (Kosovo) Albanians getting everything and Serbia getting nothing. At this time, I am president of Serbia, so you can find someone else who will want to accept that without any compromise whatsoever, by just complying with someone's ultimatums," Vucic said late Wednesday.

He said he had offered compromise solutions and discussed various options during his meetings in New York this week.
