BELGRADE - Czech President Milos Zeman said Wednesday he was expecting the economic cooperation between Serbia and the Czech Republic to grow even further by his next visit to Belgrade.

Opening a permanent space at the Czech embassy and the Czech Home in Belgrade for discussions among businesspeople will also contribute to that, he told a Serbian-Czech business forum in the Palace of Serbia.

Reiterating that "it is good to trade in apples but it is better to plant trees," Zeman said he was glad "we are planting trees" at Telenor, Telenor bank and Knjaz Milos - companies that have recently received Czech investments.

The Czech Republic is now the fourth-largest foreign investor in Serbia.

The forum was attended by over 150 top businesspeople from the two countries.
