BERLIN- German SMEs are becoming more and more interested in investing in Serbia, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia (PKS) President Marko Cadez said Tuesday, announcing a January study trip for German businesspeople that will help them get to know Serbia.

"After large German companies that have come to Serbia over the past five to seven years and that today employ 60,000 people, SMEs in Germany are becoming increasingly interested," Cadez told reporters in Berlin, where he is accompanying PM Ana Brnabic on an official visit.

German businesspeople first need some time to see that the situation is stable, that there is a good climate and that they can earn money, he added.

"That is why we went to today's meeting with the president of the German association of SMEs to see in what specific way we can together show what can be done in Serbia," he said.
