Turkish company building factory in Cuprija

Turkish auto parts maker Feka Automotive is building an 11.5 mln euro plant in Cuprija, central Serbia, that should hire 130 workers in the first stage of operations in early 2020.

CUPRIJA - Turkish auto parts maker Feka Automotive is building an 11.5 mln euro plant in Cuprija, central Serbia, that should hire 130 workers in the first stage of operations in early 2020.

The city's industrial zone, situated alongside Corridor 10, is already home to a Chinese company, while another Chinese investor has signed an agreement to lease production floors.

The most demanding construction works on the Feka Automotive plant of approx. 8,000 sq m have been completed.

The RTS has reported the local authorities had given the Turkish company 4 ha of development land to build the factory.

Feka Automotive owners have said the plant was due to open at the end of 2019 or in early 2020.
