Tuesday's dinar-to-euro rate to be RSD 117.4680

The Serbian dinar will remain practically steady against the euro next Tuesday and the official median exchange rate will be 117.4680 dinars for one euro, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) has announced in a statement.

BELGRADE - The Serbian dinar will remain practically steady against the euro next Tuesday and the official median exchange rate will be 117.4680 dinars for one euro, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) has announced in a statement.

The NBS bought 10 mln euros on the interbank foreign exchange market to curb major daily exchange rate fluctuations, taking the total purchased since the beginning of the year to 2.705 bln euros, while the total sold remains 250 mln euros.

The dinar will grow 0.1 pct against the euro m-o-m, rising 0.8 pct y-o-y and 0.6 pct compared to the beginning of the year.

The indicative exchange rate against the dollar fell 0.2 pct to 106.4986 dinars for one dollar Friday.

The dinar rose 0.2 pct against the dollar m-o-m, declining 2.0 pct y-o-y and 2.9 pct since the beginning of the year.

The dinar hit a new 2019 high against the euro zone currency on November 8 as one euro was exchanged for 117.4673 dinars.

The dinar hit its 2019 low against the euro on January 29, when one euro was exchanged for 118.4940 dinars.
