IFC seeking partners for implementation of ESG programme

The International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, on Friday issued a call to organisations in Serbia to submit letters of interest to become its local partners for implementation of a programme of environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) activities.

BELGRADE - The International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, on Friday issued a call to organisations in Serbia to submit letters of interest to become its local partners for implementation of a programme of environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) activities.

Letters of interest, written in English language only, must be submitted by March 2, 2020.

The programme, financed by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), aims to promote sustainable investment through integrated ESG standards into selected priority countries in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, the IFC said.

Consulting companies, NGOs, firms, public institutes, institutes of directors and industry associations interested in promoting corporate governance, governance of environmental and social risks and sustainable finance may apply, the IFC said.
