Vucic: Boosting economic growth rate crucial for Serbia

BELGRADE - Boosting the economic growth rate is crucial for Serbia, President Aleksandar Vucic said after a session of a council coordinating activities and measures aimed at encouraging GDP growth.

"For that reason, a meeting with government members and directors of public enterprises was an opportunity for me to ask all of them to invest more energy, more work, more effort and more enthusiasm to enable Serbia to progress at an accelerated rate. We must maintain or increase the employment level, strengthen the industry and the construction sector and make new energy infrastructure projects," Vucic wrote in an Instagram post.

Vucic attended the session at the Palace of Serbia at the invitation of PM Ana Brnabic.
