Serbia's January-September external trade at 50.489 bln euros
BELGRADE - Serbia's external goods trade in January-September totalled 50.489 bln euros, which is a 3.6 pct increase y-o-y, according to figures released by the national statistical office.
Goods exports were worth 21.8263 bln euros, rising by 1.4 pct y-o-y, while imports totalled 28.6627 bln euros, growing by 5.3 pct y-o-y.
The deficit was at 6.8364 bln euros, up by 20.2 pct y-o-y.
The export-import ratio was 76.1 pct, down from 79.1 pct in the same period of last year.
The Vojvodina region had the largest share of exports (33.6 pct) and the Belgrade region had the largest share of imports (44.1 pct).
External goods trade was the highest with countries with which Serbia has free trade agreements and EU member states accounted for 58.7 pct of the total.
Serbia's main export partners were Germany, China, Italy, Turkey and Hungary and its main import partners were Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina, China, Italy and Hungary.
