Serbian government adopts 2025 budget bill
BELGRADE - The Serbian government adopted the 2025 budget bill on Thursday, the Ministry of Finance told Tanjug.
Under the bill, planned budget revenues and receipts total 2,346.2 bln dinars - up by 8 pct or by 172.9 bln dinars relative to the 2024 supplementary budget bill.
Tax revenues are planned at 1,985.1 bln dinars - up by 6.5 pct or by 120.3 bln dinars - with planned non-tax revenues totalling 325.7 bln dinars, which is an 18.4 pct increase.
Total expenditures and spending are planned at 2,660.2 bln dinars.
The planned fiscal budget deficit is 3 pct of GDP.
Under an estimate by the Ministry of Finance, the projected 2025 economic growth rate is 4.2 pct, with the general government debt projected at 47.5 pct.
A total 762.9 bln dinars - or 7.4 pct of GDP - is set aside for capital investment.
Serbian First Deputy PM and Finance Minister Sinisa Mali said on Thursday morning an economic policy focusing on growth of living standards, boosting the business environment and carrying out important large-scale projects would be continued.
