VERONA - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Monday a deal on an Open Balkan single labour and economic market was the most important agreement reached with the PMs of Albania and North Macedonia, Edi Rama and Dimitar Kovacevski, during his visit to Verona.

"We have a growing problem with jobs - we used to have the problem of everyone being unemployed, while we now have entire regions that need to employ foreigners. North Macedonia and Albania are similar cases and exchanging people and experiences is welcome for everyone, and that is one of the most significant agreements, after which I can say that not only a single labour market, but a single economic market as well, is starting to function for us," Vucic told Pink TV.

He said a simplified procedure would be fully available from late June or early July.

Vucic said a unified electronic tolling system in Serbia, North Macedonia and Albania had been introduced and that he expected the introduction of Open Balkan IDs by the end of the year.
