Serbia, China sign bilateral documents

BEIJING - Serbia and China signed several bilateral documents in Beijing on Tuesday with a view to advancing their cooperation.
Serbia's Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Goran Vesic signed a framework agreement with the China State Construction Company on a project to build an expressway that will connect the Backi Breg border crossing with the Srpska Crnja border crossing in Serbia's northern province of Vojvodina.
Vesic also signed a commercial agreement with the Shandong International Economic and Technical Cooperation Group to build a Belgrade-Zrenjanin-Novi Sad motorway as well as a commercial agreement with CRRC on a purchase of five high-speed electrically-powered trains.
Minister of Internal and External Trade Tomislav Momirovic and representatives of China's CRBC signed a protocol on cooperation to develop the external (base) infrastructure of a Sino-Serbian industrial park in Serbia that will bear the name of scientist Mihajlo Pupin.
Telekom Srbija CEO Vladimir Lucic signed a commercial agreement with Huawei on a third phase of a modernisation of the Telekom Srbija landline network.
While in China, Lucic will also sign an agreement with the Bank of China that will finance the effort.
