Vucic: New investment plans to be unveiled around January 20
BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced on Friday new investment plans for the country would be unveiled around January 20 and that they also included wages and pensions.
In a video posted on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram account, Vucic said he had met with Finance Minister Sinisa Mali earlier in the day for some additional work on plans for the EXPO 2027 project as it was an "opportunity of all opportunities and a chance to change Serbia's face."
He noted that EXPO 2027 was not just a matter of development and infrastructure in Belgrade's Surcin and New Belgrade municipalities but also implied a ten-fold increase of investments across the country.
He added that the average monthly wage in Serbia would exceed 1,000 euros in just a year and a half.
