Vucic meets with EBRD president in Munich
MUNICH - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) President Odile Renaud-Basso in Munich on Friday.
"An excellent and productive meeting with European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) President Odile Renaud-Basso, with whom I discussed ways of further strengthening, and even faster growth, of the Serbian economy, infrastructure development and attracting foreign investments," Vucic wrote in a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram account.
He noted that they had also discussed the significance of continuing the excellent EBRD-Serbia cooperation as well as the role of new investments in the strong development that was ahead of Serbia, especially in view of major plans associated with EXPO 2027.
"I reiterated the gratitude for the fact the EBRD has invested huge funds in various sectors in Serbia to date, which has contributed to economic growth and job creation in our country to a great extent," Vucic said.
Vucic is in Munich for the 60th Munich Security Conference.
