BELGRADE - Serbian PM Milos Vucevic said on Tuesday he had chaired a session of a government council coordinating activities and measures aimed at GDP growth, also attended by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

"The topic of this session of the Council was to review the proposed measures for promoting GDP growth. Investment in infrastructure with the aim of creating favourable conditions for advancement of the business environment, attracting investments and job creation are the shared objectives of the Council for GDP," Vucevic wrote in an Instagram post.

In an appearance on Pink TV on Monday evening, Vucic said Serbia was the fastest-growing European economy with 4.7 pct GDP growth in Q1 and that being one of the top three or four performers at the end of the year when it comes to GDP growth was important for Serbia and that he would therefore attend the Council's session.Service Photo Gallery
