LONDON - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Thursday in London at the opening of the fourth European Political Community summit.
"A cordial meeting with Olaf Scholz. We will see each other in Belgrade soon," Vucic wrote in an Instagram post.
At Blenheim Palace near London, Vucic previously had a series of meetings, including with Hungarian PM Viktor Orban, the presidents of Azerbaijan and Bulgaria Ilham Aliyev and Rumen Radev, Albanian PM Edi Rama, Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Belgian PM Alexander De Croo, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda, North Macedonian PM Hristijan Mickoski, Slovenian PM Robert Golob, UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, Georgian PM Irakli Kobahidze, Swiss President Viola Amherd and former Estonian PM Kaja Kallas, a candidate for the new EU foreign policy and security chief.
Vucic also met with UK PM Keir Starmer, current EU foreign policy and security chief Josep Borrell and Spanish PM Pedro Sanchez.
Vucic announced on Wednesday he would hold a bilateral meeting with Scholz on Friday in Belgrade to discuss Serbia's EU path, political relations and economic development of Serbia and that a MoU on mineral resources would be signed with the EU.
