BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic received a farewell visit from Polish Ambassador to Belgrade Rafal Perl on Tuesday, thanking him for strengthening the mutual ties and cooperation between the two countries and wishing him success in the next stage of his career.
"We discussed bilateral relations, and I expressed the confidence his successor will continue to work on maintaining the good political relations and even better economic and any other cooperation to the benefit of our peoples," Vucic wrote in a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram profile.
Vucic thanked the ambassador for Poland's support for Serbia and the Western Balkan region in European integration and said he was confident he would host Polish top officials within the next three months.
"The situation in the Western Balkans, as well as in Europe and the world, was also a topic at the meeting, and I noted that maintaining peace and stability in the region is among Serbia's foreign policy priorities," Vucic wrote in the post.
