Vulin meets with Iranian president

TEHERAN - Serbian Deputy PM Aleksandar Vulin met with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in Teheran on Wednesday to discuss bilateral relations and continued cooperation as well as Iran's principled position of non-recognition of the so-called Kosovo.

As a special envoy of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Vulin conveyed Vucic's regards to Pezeshkian and wished him success in the performance of his responsible duty.

The parties noted that Serbia-Iran relations rested upon mutual respect and understanding and that there were opportunities for development of cooperation in numerous fields.

Vulin said the two countries were connected by sincere friendship and thanked Pezeshkian for Teheran's principled position of non-recognition of the so-called Kosovo.

Vulin attended Pezeshkian's inaugural ceremony on Tuesday.
