MALI ZVORNIK - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Friday that, due to already scheduled visits, he would see whether he would be able to attend an upcoming BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia, at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin and added that a decision on this would be made between October 10 and 15.
"I have said we will see - I just said there are visits scheduled beforehand, and after that I said we will see. So, we will make a decision on that between October 10 and 15. But there is no doubt an important invitation has arrived, just like we have important visits scheduled earlier," Vucic told reporters in Mali Zvornik, western Serbia, commenting on media reports that he had said "no to Putin" on Thursday.
"I have seen several headlines and that some people said I have rejected something, while some said I have accepted something. They all lied all day long. I said we will see," Vucic explained.
