ST PETERSBURG - Serbian Deputy PM Aleksandar Vulin met with South African Presidency Minister and National Security Adviser Khumbudzo Ntshavheni in St Petersburg on Tuesday.
Vulin, who is in St Petersburg for a meeting of senior security officials of BRICS+ states, informed Ntshavheni of the extremely tense situation in Kosovo-Metohija, a continued policy of ethnic cleansing of Kosovo-Metohija Serbs and the silence of the international community regarding all the problems faced by Serbs in Serbia's southern province.
Vulin thanked South Africa for its principled position of not recognising the false state of "Kosovo" and for the support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia.
The meeting also addressed strengthening of cooperation in areas of mutual interest, in particular, when it comes to fighting transnational organised crime, the Serbian government said in a statement.
Ntshavheni thanked Serbia for supporting the people of her country during the Apartheid era.
