Vucic receives Tokayev in Belgrade
BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic received Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the Palace of Serbia in Belgrade on Tuesday.
In a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram profile before the meeting, Vucic wrote that the discussions with Tokayev would address important matters connecting Serbia and Kazakhstan, including advancement of political and economic cooperation, strengthening of cultural ties and expansion of shared opportunities in trade, investment and defence.
He added that they would also touch upon key issues of international cooperation and common challenges faced by Serbia and Kazakhstan.
"I believe President Tokayev will feel the warmth and hospitality of our country and our people. I want him to see a dependable partner in Serbia and a friend with which Kazakhstan can build even stronger ties in the future," Vucic wrote in the post, which also included photos of him with Tokayev.
