Serbian Minister of Internal and External Trade Tomislav Momirovic resigns

BELGRADE - Serbia's Minister of Internal and External Trade Tomislav Momirovic resigned on Wednesday over the November 1 tragedy at the Novi Sad railway station, Tanjug learns.
"I hereby inform you that I am resigning from the post of minister of internal and external trade. I am grateful to the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic for his trust and for the (Statehood Day) honour. I will always be there for him and for Serbia," Momirovic wrote in a letter of resignation to PM Milos Vucevic.
Momirovic served as minister of internal and external trade from October 26, 2022, and previously as minister of construction, transport and infrastructure between October 28, 2020 and October 26, 2022.
An overhang collapse at the railway station killed 15 people.
