Vucevic: Instructions for colour revolutions are being implemented in Serbia

CUPRIJA - Serbian PM Milos Vucevic said on Thursday he would not rule out potential external influence on current developments in Serbia.

"If you look at some protocols or instructions for carrying out colour revolutions, you can see that that is what is being implemented in Serbia. That is not a conspiracy theory but something that is clearly noticeable," Vucevic told reporters in Cuprija, central Serbia, when asked to comment on a statement by Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova that Western countries were making plans to destabilise Serbia internally by using mechanisms inspired by colour revolutions.

"If Russia submits official information, Serbia will analyse that information," he added.

"Serbia must make sure it does not get caught in the crossfire between players in that geopolitical game and ensure it is not a bargaining field," he said.

"We must understand our geopolitical position and look after Serbia," Vucevic added.
