BELGRADE- Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic on Thursday met with the ambassadors of Quint states to the OSCE Mission in Vienna to discuss the situation in Kosovo-Metohija, the security situation in Europe and Serbia's European integration.

Dacic especially noted that Serbia appreciated the good cooperation with OSCE as one of the most significant regional security platforms for dialogue, as well as the cooperation with the organisation's missions in Serbia, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

He highlighted the significance of status neutrality of the OSCE field mission in Kosovo, whose mandate includes monitoring of respect of human and community rights and strengthening of democratic institutions.

They also discussed the situation in Kosovo-Metohija and agreed that peace must be preserved and tensions reduced and that there must be a return to dialogue, which they said was in mutual interest.

Dacic underscored that respect and implementation of agreements signed so far was important for Serbia.

The parties exchanged views on challenges facing OSCE in the current geopolitical circumstances, as well as on possibilities for overcoming them, the statement said.
