BANJALUKA - A better future in Bosnia and Herzegovina can be built only by all three constitutive nations together, and those who believe they will build sustainable peace and stability by humiliating the Serbs are badly wrong, Serbian PM Milos Vucevic said at a Republika Srpska Day ceremony in Banjaluka on Wednesday.

The Dayton peace agreement produced a framework that stopped a terrible war and the suffering of all nations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, taking into account national aspirations and the reality, Vucevic said in a speech at the Borik sports hall.

"The Republic of Serbia, as a guarantor of the Dayton Agreement, firmly stands by the position that any changes are possible only with absolute consent of all three constitutive nations and both entities in Bosnia and Herzegovina," he said, noting that a conscious intent to erode and destroy the Dayton Agreement was evident.

"The Republic of Serbia, led by President Aleksandar Vucic, has offered and is today offering no small number of initiatives and projects to the benefit of all nations living in Bosnia and Herzegovina. And as a rule, they have been rejected without thinking by certain centres of power that do not take into account the interests of all nations in this territory," Vucevic said.

We must have full understanding and unity on all key matters determining the future, he said.

He noted that he personally believed in a future of a Balkans connected by the economy, not by trenches.

Vucevic also said he believed in a future of a Balkans that would overcome the danger of depopulation and a Balkans adorned by "a successful and rich Republika Srpska."
