US imposes sanctions on NIS, decisions sent to Serbian state leadership

BELGRADE - The US on Friday issued a statement on sanctions imposed on Serbia's Russian majority-owned oil company NIS and concrete decisions have been sent to the Serbian state leadership, Tanjug learns.

The Office of Foreign Assets Control of the US Department of the Treasury has added NIS to a list of sanctions targeting Russia's Gazprom Neft and the Russian Federation.
