BRUSSELS - The first meeting of a Belgrade-Pristina commission on missing persons will take place in Brussels on Wednesday, the European Commission confirmed to Tanjug on Tuesday.
In a written response to the agency's query about the timing and the agenda of the meeting, an EC spokesperson also said the January 15 "meeting with delegations of Kosovo and Serbia" would be chaired by the EU.
No other details have been disclosed.
In a Facebook post, the EU special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Miroslav Lajcak announced on Monday that "this week’s focus will be on Missing Persons with the very first meeting of the Joint Commission coming up."
The joint commission is a part of a Declaration on Missing Persons, adopted by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Pristina's PM Albin Kurti on May 2, 2023.
