So-called Kosovo Police raid buildings of Serbian gov't institutions south of Ibar River
GRACANICA - The so-called Kosovo Police raided all buildings of Serbian government institutions south of the Ibar River in Kosovo-Metohija on Wednesday morning, seizing the buildings of interim authorities in Gracanica, Kosovo Polje, Lipljan, Orahovac, Gnjilane, Vucitrn, Ugljare and the Coordination Centre offices in Novi Badovac.
The buildings of the municipal interim authority of Pristina, Post of Serbia and the Kosovo Administrative District in Gracanica are closed, Tanjug's reporter on the ground said.
Entrances to the buildings are sealed off with yellow tape and employees were told they would not be able to come to work until further notice.
Pristina Interim Authority President Novak Zivic said Albin Kurti was seeking easy political gains in the electoral campaign ahead of the February 9 elections in the province.
"They showed their true face today, they are pressuring and harassing the Serbs, they want to expel those people. This is a big disgrace to the international community, the EU and everyone. We will not give in, we will be here. No one will drive us out of here," Zivic said.
