Vucic, Orban discuss current geopolitical issues, boosting cooperation
BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with Hungarian PM Viktor Orban and FM Peter Szijjarto in Belgrade on Saturday to discuss current geopolitical and regional issues, as well as boosting bilateral cooperation to find solutions to newly-emerged challenges.
"It is always an honour and a pleasure to welcome our Hungarian friends Viktor Orban and Peter Szijjarto in Belgrade. With Sinisa Mali, we are discussing current geopolitical and regional issues, as well as boosting the cooperation between our two countries with the aim of finding solutions to newly-emerged challenges," Vucic wrote in a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram account.
He added that the focus was on implementing infrastructure projects and on energy security, in view of the strategic importance of the two countries as key energy corridors in the region.
"We continue to work and build based on ties that have never been stronger and that are, at the same time, an example how stability and prosperity can be built through sincere friendship and strategic partnership," Vucic also wrote in the post.
