Djuric congratulates Rubio on his confirmation as US state secretary

BELGRADE - Serbian FM Marko Djuric on Tuesday congratulated Marco Rubio on his confirmation as US secretary of state.

"As we embark on a new era in the Serbia-US relationship, I am eager to work closely with you to build on the positive momentum of our ever-expanding bilateral cooperation, strengthen the ties between our nations, enhance regional stability, and tackle global challenges, working toward a more peaceful and prosperous future for both our countries and the international community," Djuric wrote in a post on X.

"Our historical partnership is built on shared values of peace, security, and prosperity, and I am confident that under your leadership, we will elevate our relations and cooperation to new heights," Djuric noted.
