BELGRADE - The Serbian Bureau for Coordination of Security Services concluded on Monday the security situation in the country was stable despite numerous challenges and threats to national security and that all security services were working actively to eliminate any security risk to peace and stability in the country and the region and to Serbian citizens.
The session, chaired by National Security Council Secretary Ivica Dacic and also attended by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, also addressed topics related to the way the Ukraine crisis is reflected in the situation in Serbia, as well as constant security challenges posed by illegal migrants, especially in the north of the Vojvodina province.
The session was attended by Bureau members, Security Information Agency Director Aleksandar Vulin, Military Security Agency Director Maj Gen Djuro Jovanic, Military Intelligence Agency Director Maj Gen Zoran Stojkovic, as well as by Interior Minister Bratislav Gasic, the head of the Vojvodina provincial government Igor Mirovic and the head of the Office of the National Security Council and Protection of Secret Information, Goran Matic.
