Djuric meets with head of EU delegation to Serbia

BELGRADE - Serbian FM Marko Djuric met with the head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Emanuele Giaufret on Friday and expressed the confidence 2025 would not be a lost year when it comes to continuing Serbia's economic progress, reforms and the EU integration process.

"Djuric emphasised that membership in the European Union is the absolute priority of our foreign policy and a strategic commitment, adding that we are fully dedicated to achieving all the necessary reforms required for accession to the Union by the end of 2026.

Minister Djuric expressed his confidence that the EU, and its delegation, will continue to support the internal political dialogue in Serbia on issues related to the European agenda," the Serbian MFA said in a statement.
