KUCEVO - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Friday he hoped blockades of university buildings in Serbia would come to an end soon as the country was suffering major economic consequences due to the issue.
"I do not know when that will come to an end, hopefully it will soon. We are suffering major economic consequences and we will suffer the consequences in the next six, seven or eight months, but I am also completely certain we have learned different kinds of lessons and that we will know how to appreciate work, efforts and the success we are achieving," Vucic said in Kucevo, an urban municipality in eastern Serbia, in a chat with residents.
"Usually, people take for granted all that is built and made and think things cannot get any worse, without knowing how quickly everything can collapse, and that it takes a long time to rebuild everything," Vucic said.
