Vucic: 30 pct of defence industry output must stay in Serbia

ABU DHABI - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Tuesday 30 pct of the national defence industry's output must stay in Serbia.

"Thirty percent of everything produced must stay in Serbia and my signature is required if a part of that is to be sold in case the price is favourable and in case our production goes easily and at an accelerated rate," Vucic told reporters at the IDEX 2023 arms fair in Abu Dhabi.

"We have to be protected and our army must have priority, our country has priority," he noted.
