Vucevic: Q1 2025 GDP growth rate at just 3 pct due to blockades

BELGRADE - Serbia's caretaker PM Milos Vucevic said on Tuesday that, according to flash estimates, the Q1 2025 GDP growth rate amounted to 3 pct, rather than a potential 3.8 pct, and noted that this was due to blockades, unrest and violence in the streets.

In an Instagram post after a session of a council tasked with coordinating activities and measures aimed at boosting the national GDP, Vucevic wrote that the most important indicators across all economic sectors and performance in areas crucial for economic stability had been discussed.
