Brnabic meets with Chen

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic met with Chinese Ambassador to Belgrade Chen Bo on Monday to discuss bilateral relations and the work on joint projects.

Extending her congratulations to China's newly-elected PM Li Qiang, Brnabic expressed readiness to continue the fruitful and successful cooperation between the two countries in the period to come, the Serbian government said in a statement.

She also sent her congratulations to Chinese President Xi Jinping following his re-election for a third term and said it was extremely good news for a continuation of the steely Sino-Serbian friendship in what she said were very challenging times.

Thanking Brnabic, Chen said she was confident the two countries would continue their good cooperation.
