Kovacevski: Serbia-North Macedonia cooperation at highest point
BELGRADE - North Macedonian PM Dimitar Kovacevski said on Friday in Belgrade the cooperation between Serbia and North Macedonia was at its highest point since the two countries had become independent.
He said his meetings with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and PM Ana Brnabic earlier in the day, as well as a plenary session of ministers, were another major confirmation of the cooperation.
"We have no outstanding issues and no unresolved problems - we have only discussions aimed at successful cooperation, a better future for both countries and citizens of both societal communities," Kovacevski said at a press conference with Brnabic.
"I want to demonstrate the great political will of our government that will deepen and improve the good-neighbourly relations between the two countries and our two peoples. Cooperation is present at political and economic level, as well as in other areas," he said.
He said bilateral cooperation was multi-faceted and highly developed and that he had discussed it with Vucic and Brnabic.
He said the discussions had addressed a large number of ongoing joint projects, as well as new projects and new initiatives to be launched in the future.
"Our governments are oriented towards raising the citizens' economic and social standards and ensuring a quick and efficient business environment enabling them to react and analyse their business plans within reasonable periods of time that will be shorter compared to the past," Kovacevski said.
