Vucic meets with Ziadeh
BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with UNMIK head Caroline Ziadeh on Tuesday to discuss threats to the security of Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija.
"A constructive discussion with Caroline Ziadeh about all the problems, pressure and constant threats to the security of Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija by the Kurti regime, as well as about the lack of an adequate reaction by the international community," Vucic wrote in a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram account.
"I reiterated that Serbia is striving to maintain peace in every possible way and ensure a better and safer life to all citizens, and that respect of UN provisions and continued UNMIK engagement are of substantial significance on that path," he noted.
Vucic added that they had agreed that a responsible policy, regional cooperation and economic progress were the only ways to build a better future in the Balkans.
