Dacic meets with Botsan-Kharchenko

BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic met with Russian Ambassador to Belgrade Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko on Friday to discuss bilateral relations and current geopolitical affairs.

The parties reviewed the situation in the region and in Kosovo-Metohija and Dacic reiterated Serbia's commitment to a policy of peace and cooperation with a view to maintaining stability in the Western Balkans, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

Dacic noted that Serbia would remain committed to dialogue as the only way of seeking a compromise solution, the statement also said.
