BELGRADE - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic met with Austrian federal Minister for the EU and the Constitution Karoline Edtstadler on Monday to discuss Serbia's EU integration and bilateral and economic cooperation.

Brnabic noted that Serbia appreciated Austria's commitment to date to the EU integration process and added that she hoped to see continued support to Serbia on that path, the Serbian government said in a statement.

Serbia is firmly committed to continuing the reform course, especially when it comes to rule of law, Brnabic noted.

At the same time, Brnabic pointed out the necessity of implementing the Brussels Agreement and meeting the obligation to form a Community of Serb Municipalities, which is now ten years overdue, and added that continuing the dialogue on normalisation of relations with Pristina made no sense without that.

She noted Belgrade's commitment to preserving peace and stability.

Brnabic said Austria was the third-largest foreign investor in Serbia as well as its fifth-largest services trade partner.

The parties agreed that continued advancement and deepening of cooperation in all fields was in mutual interest.
