Dacic meets with US ambassador

BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic met with US Ambassador to Belgrade Christopher Hill on Thursday.

Dacic noted that advancement of cooperation with the US in areas of mutual significance was Serbia's strategic commitment.

The parties expressed commitment to stepping up political dialogue and exchanging visits by high- and top-ranking state officials of Serbia and the US, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

They exchanged views on continued activities aimed at further building of political and economic partnerships.

Dacic and Hill welcomed Wednesday's launch of direct flights between Belgrade and Chicago, which will help to connect the two countries, the statement also said.
