Serb wounded in Zvecan clashes in critical condition - doctor
KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - The director of the Kosovska Mitrovica hospital, Zlatan Elek, said on Wednesday a 58-year-old Serb man wounded in Monday's clashes in Zvecan, a Serb-majority municipality in the north of Kosovo-Metohija, was in critical condition and remained in intensive care.
"Dragisa Galjak received two units of blood last night and his condition is still critical," Elek told Tanjug.
He said Galjak had been hospitalised with two exit wounds in the pelvic region and the left index finger region that were a result of use of live ammunition by Pristina's police.
Elek also said 52 people had been hospitalised in Kosovska Mitrovica following the clashes and that only Galjak remained in hospital for further treatment.
