LONDON - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic announced on Monday Serbia and the UK would sign an agreement on energy cooperation on Tuesday and also discuss advancement of economic and political relations.

Speaking to reporters in London, Brnabic said the first day of her visit to the UK had been devoted to economic topics.

"I am glad our collocutors already know a lot about Serbia. They are interested in investing in the gaming industry. They also know a lot about biotech," Brnabic said.

She said the discussion topics had also included changes that had taken place in Serbia in the past years and its leadership in technology, development of eGovernment and changes in the education system.

"When it comes to IT services, we have increased their exports by eight times. This year, we will have IT exports worth 4 bln euros. That focuses attention on us as a country with great potential," Brnabic said.

She said political meetings with UK officials would begin this evening and added that she expected discussions about economic and political relations with a view to establishing better and closer cooperation and communication.

That will be important, including because of the Kosovo issue, Brnabic said.
