Vucic thanks bin Zayed for his engagement towards resolution of issues

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic spoke on Thursday in Belgrade with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan about current developments in Kosovo-Metohija and thanked him for his engagement to date towards peaceful resolution of all outstanding issues.

"The partnership and the friendship between our countries are based, above all, on mutual respect and understanding, and we will together continue to advance economic, bilateral and all other forms of cooperation to the benefit of the citizens of Serbia and the UAE," Vucic wrote in a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram profile after the meeting with bin Zayed, who is on a one-day working visit to Belgrade.

Vucic added that he had again thanked bin Zayed for inviting him to a UN climate summit to be hosted by the UAE and noted that Serbia was fully committed to investing in projects that would help to mitigate the consequences of climate change.
