BELGRADE - It seems that Brussels and Washington only hear the Serbs when they are at barricades in Kosovo-Metohija, and even then, they do not hear them very well, Serbian PM Ana Brnabic said on Monday.

"They are at barricades because they want fundamental human rights, and nothing more than that. They have left (Pristina's) institutions only because, after nearly ten years, they wanted respect of the Brussels Agreement and fundamental human rights," Brnabic told the RTS.

Since Pristina's PM Albin Kurti says the Brussels Agreement is non-existent, then what is the problem with Kosovo-Metohija Serbs leaving the Pristina institutions, she asked.

She said she was deeply disappointed with the international community.

"I am deeply disappointed with Brussels's and Washington's understanding of democracy and human rights. If you look at what December has been like... It began with the appointment of Nenad Rasic as a Serb representative after he won 0.17 pct of votes," she said.

Brussels's response, in which it called on both sides to reduce tensions, was disappointing, and it was only after a stronger reaction by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic that Brussels admonished Pristina, Brnabic said.

There have been 16 brutal provocations by Pristina this month - above all, a police raid in the north of Kosovo-Metohija - and the whereabouts of illegally arrested Serb Dejan Pantic are still unknown, and Brussels remains silent in the face of all that, she said.
