BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with Chinese Ambassador to Belgrade Chen Bo on Thursday to inform her of the jeopardy to Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija and the necessity of holding a special UN Security Council session.
"I informed Ambassador Chen Bo in detail of the jeopardy to Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija and the delicate nature of the security situation, which erodes the stability of the entire region. I noted the necessity of holding a special UN SC session to inform the entire global public of the tensions in Kosovo-Metohija and the difficult position of the Serbs," Vucic wrote in a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram profile.
He added that he had thanked China for its clear and consistent position on finding a solution through dialogue and UNSCR 1244, as well as for the support to Serbia's efforts to preserve its territorial integrity and sovereignty.
